# InfraMap Pro > InfraMap Pro is a US power market data platform for energy analysts, developers, asset managers, offtakers and traders. It ties all 14,225 operating US power projects to their generation, emissions, owners, offtake contracts and the ISO pricing node behind each one, with node prices, hub prices and basis across CAISO, ERCOT, ISO-NE, MISO, NYISO, PJM and SPP. Teams use it through a web map, an AI analyst that answers with tables, charts and sources, and a 59-tool MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI clients. InfraMap Pro is InfraMap's professional product. InfraMap Edu (https://edu.inframap.org) is a separate, free app for learning how the grid works; it does not include Pro's market data, analyst or MCP server. https://www.inframap.org introduces both. InfraMap Pro is not affiliated with Open Infrastructure Map, Cycloid's InfraMap tool for Terraform diagrams, InfraMap Corp. (subsurface utility engineering) or iWater's infraMAP. ## URL patterns - Power plant: https://www.inframap.pro/plants/{eia-plant-id}/{name-slug}. https://www.inframap.pro/plants/{eia-plant-id} redirects there, so the EIA plant ID is enough. Zero and negative values are shown as reported. - Each dataset keeps its own period, and every panel and answer states it. - A pricing node, hub or balancing area linked to a plant is an association, not proof of settlement, a contract or a physical connection. ## Plans - Free ($0): every public dataset on the map; node prices, hub prices and basis with a free account; 1 analyst question a day. - Pro ($100 per month, one person): 300 analyst questions a month with no daily limit, MCP access, modeled data, ownership and offtake, and the pricing node name behind every price. - Team ($200 per seat a month, from 2 seats): everything in Pro for each person, one card bill, and an admin who invites colleagues and adds or removes seats. - Enterprise (custom pricing), for organizations that buy on an order form: - Contact: contact@inframap.org ## Optional - [Energy glossary](https://www.inframap.pro/learn) - [Megawatt (MW)](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/megawatt): A megawatt measures power: how fast a plant can produce electricity at a given moment. One megawatt is 1,000 kilowatts. - [Megawatt-hour (MWh)](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/megawatt-hour): A megawatt-hour measures energy: an amount of electricity. It is one megawatt of power delivered for one hour, or 1,000 kilowatt-hours. - [Capacity factor](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/capacity-factor): Capacity factor is how much electricity a plant actually produced, as a share of what it could have produced running at full power the whole time. - [Heat rate](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/heat-rate): Heat rate is how much fuel energy a power plant burns to make one kilowatt-hour of electricity. A lower heat rate means a more efficient plant. - [Locational marginal price (LMP)](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/locational-marginal-price): A locational marginal price is the wholesale price of electricity at one point on the grid. It is the cost of serving one more MWh there, given the plants running and the limits of the lines. - [Day-ahead and real-time markets](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/day-ahead-vs-real-time): Most US power markets run twice. The day-ahead market sets prices and schedules for each hour of the next day. The real-time market settles the differences as the day actually unfolds. - [Basis](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/basis): Basis is the gap between the price at a plant's own node and the price at its trading hub. InfraMap reports node minus hub, so a negative basis means the plant's location is worth less than the hub. - [Negative prices](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/negative-prices): A negative price means sellers pay to deliver electricity in that hour. It happens when output that is hard to turn down meets low demand, or when tax credits make producing worth it even below zero. - [Capture price and capture rate](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/capture-rate): Capture price is the average price over the hours a plant produced in, weighting each hour by its output. Capture rate divides it by a plain average price, so it shows whether the plant produces in cheap or expensive hours. - [Curtailment](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/curtailment): Curtailment is electricity a plant could have produced but did not, because it was told to or chose to cut output. It usually happens when the grid has more supply than it can use or move. - [Battery energy storage (BESS)](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/battery-energy-storage): A battery energy storage system charges from the grid or a solar farm and discharges later. Its MW rating says how fast it can discharge, its MWh rating says how much, and together they give its duration. - [Round-trip efficiency](https://www.inframap.pro/learn/round-trip-efficiency): Round-trip efficiency is the share of electricity put into storage that comes back out. A battery that takes in 100 MWh and returns 85 MWh is 85% efficient.
